How Do I Manage Where Incoming Crypto Deposits Are Credited?

Breet lets your business decide which wallet incoming crypto deposits are credited to after conversion. This matters for liquidity, settlement planning, and the extent of exposure your business has to local currency fluctuations.

1. Local Wallet (Naira/Cedis)

This is the default option. If no change is made, deposits made to any wallet address linked to your business account will be converted and credited to your local wallet.

This works best if your business mainly settles in Naira or Cedis, or wants funds readily available for local withdrawals.

2. USD Wallet

You can also choose to have deposits converted to USD and credited to your USD wallet.

This is useful if your business wants to reduce local currency exposure, hold value in USD, or fund stablecoin-related flows.

How to Change Your Default Wallet

Go to Settings > Crypto Settings, choose your preferred wallet, and save the changes.

Please note:

Changing your default wallet only affects new deposits. Deposits already received or in progress will follow the wallet setting that applied at the time they were made.
