How can I send money to another Breet user?

Internal Transfer moves money from your Breet wallet straight to another Breet user's wallet. It is free, easy and fast.

  1. Tap "Wallet" at the bottom of your home screen.

  2. Choose the wallet to send from. Stay on your NGN or GHS wallet, or swipe left to open your USD wallet.

  3. Tap "Withdraw".

  4. Select "Breet User" as the destination.

  5. Enter the amount you want to send.

  6. Enter the receiver's username or email address.

  7. Check that the receiver's name on screen is correct, then tap "Continue".

  8. Enter your transaction PIN to complete the transfer.

Please Note: Both you and the receiver must have completed Basic KYC, and you can only send to a Breet user in your own country. See: About Breet identity verification (KYC)

Transfer limits per transaction:

  • Naira: ₦10,000 to ₦10,000,000

  • Cedis: GH₵10 to GH₵100,000

  • USD: $5 to $500,000

Please Note: If you see "User cannot receive funds at this time", the receiver has not completed Basic KYC. Please ask them to complete the verification or contact support via in-app chat or email support@breet.app for assistance.
