How do I verify my KYC?
You can start verification from two places:
Tap "Continue" on the Account Setup section on the home screen, or
Tap "Profile" at the bottom of the screen, then select "KYC" under "Account Settings".
On the KYC page, tap "Continue" to proceed.
Choose your ID type, then enter the required ID details or tap "Upload Photo" to upload the document.
Take a clear selfie for verification, then tap "Submit".
Please Note: You must complete Basic KYC before you can proceed to Advanced KYC. Advanced KYC requires a proof of address document. Accepted documents are a Waste Bill, Electricity Bill, or Bank Statement with Address. Ensure the document is not blurry and all information is clearly visible.
How long does KYC verification take?
Basic KYC verification is instant. Ensure you have good lighting and your face is clearly visible when taking your selfie. For Advanced KYC, ensure your documents are clear and accurate to avoid delays.
Why was my KYC rejected?
Common reasons for rejection include:
Blurry or unclear documents.
Selfie does not match the photo on your BVN (Nigeria only).
Incorrect or incomplete documents that do not meet the required standards.
Duplicate KYC entry. You cannot verify more than one account with the same KYC documents.
You will receive an email with the exact reason for rejection. You can also view the reason on the KYC page in the app.
Is my personal information safe?
