Crypto swap FAQs.

Everything you need to know on Crypto swap.

Crypto swap transactions on Breet typically take between 2 and 30 minutes, depending on the cryptocurrency and the time it takes for a block to be confirmed on the network.

Most swaps complete in just a few minutes. Larger transactions (e.g. more than 1 BTC) may take longer depending on the transaction size and block capacity

Can I cancel a crypto swap transaction?

Once a swap is initiated and funds have been sent, the transaction cannot be cancelled. Blockchain transactions are irreversible.

If you have initiated a swap but have not yet sent the funds, you do not need to do anything. The transaction will expire automatically.

Please Note: Always verify all payment details before sending funds.

What is a transaction hash?

A transaction hash (also called a TX ID or Transaction ID) is the unique code assigned to every transaction on the blockchain. You can use it to verify the status and validity of your transaction. You can find your transaction hash in your transaction history on the Breet app.

What happens if I send the wrong amount?

Always send exactly the amount shown on the exchange screen. If you send the wrong amount, contact Breet support via in-app chat or email support@breet.app and a refund will be issued.

What happens If I send the wrong asset?

If you send an asset that is not supported on Breet, or send a different asset from what you were expected to deposit, Breet cannot guarantee a refund.

Always confirm you are sending the correct asset to the correct address before making a deposit.
