What is automatic settlement?

Breet gives your business two ways to manage how incoming deposits are automatically settled to your bank account after conversion.

1. Per-address auto-settlement

Each wallet address on your business account is linked to its own bank account. When a deposit is received on a specific address, the converted funds are sent to the bank account linked to that address.

This works best if your business needs to route different income streams to different accounts.

2. Business-wide automatic settlement

All incoming deposits, regardless of which wallet address they are received on are sent to one selected bank account after every successful transaction. Business-wide auto-settlement overrides per-address routing.

This removes the need to place withdrawals manually and reduces the operational overhead on your team.

To enable it, go to Settings > Automatic Settlement on your dashboard and select your preferred bank account.

Please Note: If a transaction amount is below the minimum withdrawal threshold, the settlement will fail and the funds will remain in your wallet.

The minimum withdrawal amount is ₦2,000 for NGN and GHS 50 for GHS.
