How Can I Send Money To Another Breet User?

Updated this week

The Internal Transfer feature makes it easy to move money from your Breet account directly to another user’s account. Instead of withdrawing to a bank, you can instantly send funds to another Breet user at no cost.

You can choose to transfer in your local currency or from your USD wallet, giving you more control over how you send money.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Tap Wallet (the second icon at the bottom of your home screen).

  2. Choose the wallet you want to send from:

    • If you’re sending from your local wallet (NGN or GHS), just stay on that screen.

    • If you’re sending from your USD wallet, swipe left to switch to the USD tab.

  3. Tap Withdraw if you are sending from your local wallet (NGN or GHS), or tap Sell to NGN/GHS if you are sending from your USD wallet.

  4. Select Breet User as the destination, enter the receiver’s username or email, verify their details, review, and confirm with your withdrawal PIN.

  5. Provide the receiver’s email address or username, then click Continue. Finally, input your transaction PIN to complete the transfer.

Requirements For Internal Transfer

Before you can use Internal Transfer, please note the following:

1. Both the sender and receiver must have completed Basic KYC.

2. The receiver’s account must have no restrictions.

3. Transfers must follow the set minimum and maximum limits:

USD: Minimum $2
