Important things to know before you trade on Breet

Can I receive crypto from any country or wallet?

Yes. Your Breet wallet address can receive crypto from any wallet, anywhere in the world. You can receive Bitcoin from any Bitcoin wallet, and the same goes for all other supported cryptocurrencies.

What are the receiving limits?

There is no maximum limit on the amount of crypto you can receive. The minimum amount for each cryptocurrency is displayed on the trading page in the app.

What should I know before sending crypto to my Breet wallet?

Your Breet wallet is for selling only.
Your wallet address is designed to receive crypto that you intend to sell for Naira, Cedis, or USD. You cannot store crypto in your Breet wallet.

Conversions are automatic.

Once crypto is received, it is converted immediately at the current market rate. Manual influence is not possible.

Rates are dynamic.

Crypto rates change frequently based on market conditions and are not subject to negotiation.

The USD value may differ from what was sent.

Due to crypto market fluctuations, the value credited to your wallet may be slightly higher or lower than the value at the time of sending.

Bitcoin ATM fees.

Some Bitcoin ATMs deduct high fees from transactions. Breet will only credit you for the exact amount received.

Sending to the wrong address or network is irreversible.

If you send crypto to the wrong wallet address or the wrong network, it will be permanently lost. Always double-check the address and network before sending. For example, sending Bitcoin to a Litecoin address means the funds are gone forever.

Crypto refunds are not possible.

Once crypto is sent to your Breet wallet, a refund cannot be issued under any circumstances.
