The Rate Calculator shows how much you will receive before you trade. It has two tabs — Sell and Buy — so you can check both rates in one place. The rate refreshes automatically every 60 seconds.
To open the Rate Calculator, tap the calculator icon at the top of your home screen.
Sell tab
Use this to check how much Naira or Cedis you will receive when you sell crypto.
Tap "Sell".
Enter the USD Amount you want to sell.
Select the cryptocurrency from the Crypto Amount dropdown.
The calculator will show:
Rate — the current Naira or Cedis rate per dollar.
Fee — the transaction fee that applies to your trade. See: What Are Breet's Transaction Fees?
Market Price — the current market price of the selected cryptocurrency.
Naira Amount — the estimated amount you will receive in your wallet. The amount you receive is subject to a transaction fee.
Buy tab
Use this to check how much stablecoin you will receive when you spend Naira or Cedis.
Tap "Buy".
Enter the Naira/Cedis Amount (how much fiat you want to spend on stablecoins)
The calculator will show:
Rate — the current Naira or Cedis rate per dollar.
Market Price — the current market price of the stablecoin (1 USD = 1 USDT = 1 USDC).
You Receive — the estimated USD value of the stablecoin you will receive. The stablecoin amount you receive is subject to a network fee.
