What Do I Do If I Loose Access To My Authenticator App

If you no longer have access to your authenticator app, you can authorise the transaction using one of your recovery codes instead.

Using Recovery Codes

  1. On the Verification screen, tap Use Recovery Code at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Enter one of your single-use recovery codes in the Recovery Code field.

  3. Tap Continue.

  4. And your transaction will be completed automatically.

Please Note: Each recovery code works only once. Once used, it cannot be reused.


What Happens When Recovery Codes Run Low

If you have 3 recovery codes left, a warning will appear on the recovery code screen. You can reach out to support to reset them when you run out.


What Happens When All Recovery Codes Are Exhausted

If all 10 recovery codes have been used up, you will see a "Recovery Codes Exhausted" modal. Tap Contact Support to reach the Breet support team, who will help you regain access to your account.

Please Note: If a recovery code is entered incorrectly, you will see an "Invalid recovery code, try another one" error. Double-check the code and try again. If all codes are exhausted, tap “Contact Support” immediately.
