Why is my final swap amount different from what I expected?

Learn why you might receive less than the expected amount.

The expected amount shown when you initiate a swap reflects the rate at that exact moment. Because it takes time to send a deposit and confirm a transaction, the final amount may differ slightly due to market volatility.

Fixed rate

You receive exactly the amount shown when you initiated the swap, regardless of market movement.

Floating rate

The final amount depends on the rate at the time your deposit is confirmed.

  • If the rate goes up during the exchange, you receive more.

  • If the rate goes down during the exchange, you receive less.

There is no difference in fees between Fixed and Floating rate.

Please Note: Breet always applies the best available rate at the moment your exchange is processed.
